Who is going to protect the US military from its leaders?
Despite the chaos spiraling out of control in Iraq, despite international public and political opinion that the war is a mistake and its handling has been botched, despite numerous failures, George Bush, Dick Cheney and Donald Rumsfeld promise more of the same and no change in course.
Vice-Dictator Dick Cheney told George Stephanopolis that the upcoming elections and the American public’s hatred of the conflict will not sway the Bushies from their current disasterous course.
Decider King George says American troops will stay in Iraq as long as he is president. US soldiers and Iraqi civilians will keep dying even if Queen Laura, and Royal Mutt Barney, are his only support. The emperor also said this week that Offensive Secretary Donald Rumsfeld will stay on board to continue running the US military into the ground despite the unprecidented military mutiny against him.
If the Democrats gain control of Congress on Tuesday, will they continue their rhetoric that impeachment of the Bush cabal is off the table?
On Wednesday, November 8 we, the people, must escalate the struggle to remove the entire Bush administration - George, Dick, Don, Condi, Alberto, everybody - from office no matter who wins. It is up to the citizens of the United States to protect its sons and daughters from the madmen who have taken control of the government. If we won’t stand up for them, why should our troops continue to protect and serve us?

Do-It-Yourself Impeachment, no joke.
The Citizens’ movement.
The day the nation demands impeachment is upon us. Sacks and sacks of mail are arriving in congress demanding impeachment via the House of Representative’s own rules. This legal document is as binding as if a State or if the House itself passed the impeachment resolution (H.R. 635).
There’s a little known and rarely used clause of the “Jefferson Manual” in the rules for the House of Representatives which sets forth the various ways in which a president can be impeached. Only the House Judiciary Committee puts together the Articles of Impeachment, but before that happens, someone has to initiate the process.
That’s where we come in. In addition to the State-by-State method, one of the ways to get impeachment going is for individual citizens like you and me to submit a memorial. ImpeachforPeace.org, part of the movement to impeach the president, has created a new memorial based on one which was successful in impeaching a federal official in the past. You can find it on their website as a PDF.

You can initiate the impeachment process yourself by downloading the memorial, filling in the relevant information in the blanks (your name, state, etc.), and sending it in. Be a part of history.
