Not that women and minorities are flocking to join up these days. Given the never-ending disaster that is Iraq, not to mention the situation with Iran and North Korea, one would consider that we should be doing everything possible for the sake of national unity and defense. Instead, there will now be even more reason for young people to not care about this country. Why go fight for freedom and equality overseas when you can't get it at home? Talk about hypocrisy! Do you know how many executives and Human Resrouce-types can't "imagine" someone like you on a management track or they can't "imagine" why you should make that much money? The real problem with racism is that people who are in positions of power don't really 'see' you or they can't 'imagine' who you are as an individual...or what kind of skills you possess...it is really pretty sick out here...
